Living with a serious illness can have a profound effect on individuals and their families. We understand.

Do you need someone to talk to? Are you experiencing grief or other overwhelming emotions? Are you overloaded with information, questions and concerns? Are you a caregiver? As a caregiver, do you need a break from the daily routine of caring for someone with a life-threatening illness? Do you have questions? Please call us if you have answered yes to any of these questions. We are ready to meet you and learn if our service can help you cope with the challenges and hurdles that you are facing.

Our volunteers are trained in The Fundamentals of Palliative Care and understand the changes that you may be experiencing. We are empathetic, knowledgeable, discrete, and flexible. Volunteers receive ongoing education, support and supervision relevant to their role.

Referrals for our service can come directly from potential clients, their family, healthcare professionals, LIHN’s Case Coordinators and community leaders.
